Getting Started
Installing Quicktime and iTunes

All the media on the BPP website can be accessed through two integrated programs: QuickTime and iTunes. iTunes organises your music and video downloads, and QuickTime allows you to play them. QuickTime is integrated into iTunes and your web browser, and can also play files in a stand alone player. Both programs are free and available for Mac and PC computers. If you own a Mac, they are already installed on your system (although we recommend that you make some adjustments to iTunes, which are outlined on the ‘Setting up iTunes’ page.
If you own a Windows PC, you can download both programs at once in just a few minutes. To download the programs, go to www.apple.com/au/itunes/download, fill in your email address in the white text box, then click on the ‘Download iTunes’ button. This will download both iTunes and QuickTime. A dialogue window will appear asking ‘Do you want to run or save this file?’. Click 'Run', and the programs will begin to download. When the download is complete, another window will appear. Click ‘Run’ again, and the iTunes Set-up Assistant will guide you through installation. When the installation is finished, you are asked ‘Do you want to go to the iTunes store?’. Click ‘No, take me to my iTunes library’ and the iTunes window will appear.
